Business Idea Competition

The ROMVOS Network will organize two business idea competitions aimed at supporting and showcasing innovative entrepreneurial teams with ambitious ideas. AGROFOOD

It includes solutions covering the entire agri-food value chain, from primary production to consumption. It encompasses sub-sectors such as precision agriculture, sustainable farming practices, crop protection, animal production, food and beverage technologies, food safety and quality, functional foods, agri-biotechnology, circular economy and the valorization of agricultural waste, as well as digital applications for production and supply chain management.

BIOSCIENCES

It includes solutions related to the study and utilization of living organisms and biological systems. It encompasses sub-sectors such as biotechnology, molecular and cellular biology, biomedical research, pharmaceutical development, diagnostic technologies, bioinformatics, synthetic biology, microbiology, and immunology. It also covers applications in health, pharmaceuticals, environmental biology, and the industrial production of bioproducts.

SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES

It includes solutions related to understanding and improving human behavior, social structures, and culture. It encompasses sub-sectors such as economics, finance, management and entrepreneurship, education and pedagogy, psychology, sociology, political science, legal studies, cultural heritage, and creative industries. Additionally, it covers digital humanities, social innovation, public policy, and data analytics tools for social applications.
